Job summary

VennGroup is seeking a School Caretaker in Scunthorpe to support the smooth operation of a large school site. You will join a caretaking team, carrying out practical duties across the campus and helping with basic maintenance and repairs.

The role is temporary with start ASAP, paying £14-£16 per hour. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is essential, and you will engage with staff, contractors and visitors to keep the site safe and well presented.

Qualifications

• DBS Update Service is essential.
• Previous caretaker or site manager experience required.
• Experience delivering practical site services to customers.
• Able to work in a team on planned and reactive tasks.

About You

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service - essential
• Previous experience in a caretaker, site manager or similar role
• Experience providing practical site services to a range of customers
• Comfortable working as part of a team on planned and reactive tasks
• Able to complete basic maintenance and refurbishment works
• Strong communication skills and a professional approach
