Randstad CPE is recruiting a skilled Caretaker for a key site in Redcar. This is an immediate start on an ongoing temporary basis with hours 08:00–16:00, weekdays. The role requires experience in commercial facilities, a valid Enhanced DBS, and practical DIY skills for basic joinery and plumbing tasks.
Daily site opening duties, standard daytime shifts, and steady hours through September are guaranteed. You will contribute to safe building operations and effective space management at the site.

Pay Rate: £15.17 per hour
Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday (08:00 - 16:00)
Contract Type: Ongoing Temporary (ASAP start - at least 18th Sept)

Site Opening: Daily morning unlock of school grounds and buildings, ensuring safety standards are met.
Maintenance & Repairs: Hands-on basic DIY tasks, including minor joinery work and light plumbing fixes.
Logistics: Moving furniture, setting up classrooms/halls, and handling heavy lifting.
Proven experience in commercial caretaking, maintenance, or facilities management.
Active Enhanced Child Barred List DBS (or registered on the DBS Update Service).
Practical DIY skills (basic joinery & plumbing) and strong physical capability.
Pay: £15.17 per hour.
Schedule: Standard daytime hours (08:00-16:00) with weekends off.
Immediate Start: Full-time, steady hours guaranteed through September.
