Job summary

Venn Group are working with a school in Scunthorpe to recruit a Caretaker on a temporary basis, supporting the day-to-day operation and maintenance of a large school campus.

Pay: £13.14-£16.00 per hour; Start: ASAP; Location: Scunthorpe.

The role requires an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service and experience in caretaker, site services and effective communication with staff and visitors.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service – essential.
• Caretaker or site management experience.
• Experience delivering practical site services.
• Able to work in a team and handle planned/reactive tasks.
• Good communication and professional approach.

Responsibilities

• Support the smooth running of a large school site with caretaking team.
• Carry out wide range of practical duties across campus.
• Assist with reactive repairs and general site maintenance.
• Respond to ad-hoc requests from departments.
• Support site logistics for events.
• Liaise with staff, contractors and visitors.
• Respond calmly to emergencies.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment at all times.
