Acorn by Synergie is recruiting a Caretaker to work on a temporary part-time basis at a primary school in Manchester. The role involves maintaining high standards across premises and supporting a professional team. Hours are 20 per week, 1.30pm-5.30pm, Monday to Friday.

Key duties include site security, alarm checks, cleaning, minor maintenance, and event room preparation. An enhanced DBS certificate is essential, with immediate start available and weekly pay.

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for a Caretaker to work on a temporary part-time basis at a primary school in Manchester This role provides the opportunity to maintain high standards across school premises while supporting a friendly, professional team.

Key Duties

• Locking of the site at the end of the day and ensuring security at all times.
• Check the fire alarm and conduct a Health & Safety walk.
• Update records on a computer.
• Undertake cleaning duties to maintain high internal and external standards, supporting the existing cleaning team.
• Perform general maintenance routines, including painting.
• Assemble and move furniture as required.
• Care for equipment, materials and storage areas used in cleaning.
• Provide efficient removal, storage and waste disposal services.
• Identify and report building or equipment faults promptly.
• Prepare rooms for use, including functions and events, and clear rooms afterwards.
• Participate in required training.
• Complete all duties in accordance with Health & Safety regulations, policies and safe systems of work.
