About The Role

As Caretaker at Akeley Wood, you will play a vital role in ensuring the school’s buildings and grounds are safe, well-maintained, and fit for purpose. You’ll support the day-to-day operations of the school across our campuses—carrying out maintenance tasks, managing contractors, and ensuring all compliance checks are completed on time. You'll also assist with setting up for events, transporting equipment, and handling deliveries. As a keyholder, you may be called upon out of hours for emergencies or access. This is a hands-on, varied role where no two days are the same, and your contribution is essential to the smooth running of school life.

This is a permanent, full-time role.
