Salary Grade 5 £25,183 to £26,409 (Pay award pending)

Fortis Academy are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and proactive Caretaker to join our friendly school community. As a key member of our support staff, you will take pride in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our students, staff, and visitors. Your responsibilities will include general maintenance, minor repairs, and ensuring the school grounds and buildings are well-kept and fully operational. This is a vital role at the heart of our school, perfect for someone who is practical, takes initiative, and enjoys varied tasks. Fortis Academy is a very large 11-18 academy serving a local area of high-density housing in Birmingham’s outer suburbs. The Academy is the largest employer in the ward, with over 200 employees. It is part of the North Area Network of schools, one of six network regions in the city. The setting is uniquely split into a Foundation Academy and Senior Academy.
