Job summary

We Manage Jobs is seeking a Site Supervisor/Caretaker for Lanesfield Primary to support in maintaining a safe and welcoming school environment. Candidates should be self-motivated and enthusiastic, with a driving license essential for minibus duties. Training will be provided, and previous experience is desirable but not mandatory. This position involves working split shifts and is a permanent role.

Job description

Actual starting salary £25,584 plus split shift allowance £1,279. 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year/split shift. Permanent.

The Headteacher and Governors wish to appoint a Site Supervisor/Caretaker.

We are looking for someone who is self motivated and enthusiastic about supporting us in making our school the best it can be.

Previous experience of caretaking, working in a school environment or in building security would be desirable but isn’t essential as training will be given. You will have willingness to undergo training to develop your skills. A driving licence is essential, as part of your role is to drive the minibus on the morning and afternoon for our minibus pupil pick up and drop off service. A grade C or above in GCSE Maths and English is desirable.

You will work a split shift Monday to Friday and may be required to work evenings and weekends. Annual leave is to be taken during school holiday periods.
