Job summary

N-Compass is seeking a compassionate Well-being Support Officer to join our Knowsley team on a 12-month maternity cover contract. The role provides face-to-face information, advice and practical support to unpaid carers, helping them access services and improve wellbeing.

You will build positive relationships with carers, community organisations and partners, maintain records and monitor outcomes. Working 21 hours per week, this role offers a supportive team, supervision and development

Qualifications

• No direct carer support experience required; transferable skills welcomed.
• Excellent listening and communication abilities.
• Organised and confident with IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide information, advice and guidance to unpaid carers
• Hold person-centred conversations and identify individual needs
• Connect carers with local services, community resources and support networks
• Support carers to improve their wellbeing, confidence and resilience
• Build positive relationships with carers, partners and community organisations
• Promote our services through community engagement and outreach
• Maintain accurate records and monitor outcomes
