Job summary

HRC Recruitment is recruiting experienced Carers in Edinburgh, Scotland. We’re looking for people who genuinely enjoy making a difference and supporting others to live independently.

If you’re flexible, want permanent or extra hours, or gain experience across care settings, this role offers £13.00–£13.25 per hour with flexible hours, training, travel support and a pathway to permanent employment.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months UK care experience.
• Valid UK driving licence.
• Kind, caring and compassionate.

Responsibilities

• Provide emotional and practical support to help individuals achieve goals.
• Support people to take part in meaningful activities.
• Maintain dignity and respect while assisting with personal care and daily living tasks.
• Keep clear, accurate records of the support provided.

What will you be doing?

Your role could include:

• Providing emotional and practical support and encouraging individuals to achieve their personal goals.
• Supporting people to get involved in meaningful activities.
• Building positive relationships and helping people to enjoy a good quality of life.
• Working as part of a team to provide support in line with individual care plans.
• Supporting with personal care, medication and daily living tasks, always maintaining dignity, respect and choice.
• Recognising and reporting any changes in an individual's physical or emotional wellbeing.
• Keeping clear and accurate records of the support you provide.

• Experienced - you'll need at least 6 months' UK care experience
