SGS College is seeking an Employability Skills and Industry Placement Coach to support learners in developing employability skills and securing high‑quality industry placements. The role focuses on coordinating placements, delivering workshops and coaching learners to succeed in employment, apprenticeships or further study.

• Experience organising industry placements, volunteering or employer engagement.
• Experience delivering employability skills workshops, training or programmes.
• Excellent communication, presentation and relationship‑building skills.
• Strong organisational, planning and administration skills.
• Experience working with employers and ability to influence and engage stakeholders.
• A learner‑centred approach and commitment to supporting individual success.
• Strong digital skills and experience of recording and monitoring data.
• A driving licence and access to transport.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and manage high‑quality industry placements and employer‑led learning.
• Deliver employability skills workshops, workplace readiness sessions and briefings.
• Coach learners to develop key employability skills and professional behaviours.
• Support learners to match to suitable placement opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with employers and external organisations.
• Conduct placement reviews, employer liaison and learner progress monitoring.
• Promote progression into employment, apprenticeships and study.
• Ensure safeguarding, health and safety, and placement compliance.
• Maintain learner tracking data and placement documentation.
• Collaborate with curriculum teams to support positive learner destinations.
