Job summary

Nova Training in Kidderminster is seeking a Placement & Progression Officer (PPO) to support learners as they move from centre to work placements and to develop referrals and employer partnerships.

The role focuses on delivering high-quality information, advice and guidance that leads to positive outcomes, achieving KPIs, and helping learners access progression routes through employers.

This is a full-time, permanent role with a salary of £25,000–£28,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales or information, advice and guidance (IAG) oriented environments.
• Able to meet targets and KPI expectations.
• Good communication and customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Support learners with the transition from centre to work placements.
• Vet and update work experience/apprenticeship placements.
• Review learners in work experience placements and ensure engagement.
• Encourage employers to employ learners on Apprenticeships or Traineeships.
• Build relationships with colleagues and progression partners.
• Conduct local marketing and outreach to generate referrals.
• Coordinate local marketing and careers events.
• Help learners source progression routes and transitions to chosen destinations.
