ESSENTIAL EMPLOYMENT LTD in Rhyl is seeking a Placement Officer to join our team on a full‑time basis for a temporary period. Qualifications

• Manage a caseload of participants with one-to-one support.
• Build professional relationships with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Identify skills, aspirations, barriers and employment goals using a strengths-based approach.
• Develop action plans, monitor progress and support outcomes.
• Provide employability support including CV writing, job search, interview prep and career planning.
• Maintain records of progress, achievements and barriers.
• Complete risk assessments and safeguarding procedures, including lone working.
• Maintain contact with employers to monitor placements and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to support training and employment opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular reviews, maintaining accurate records of progress, achievements and barriers.
• Complete risk assessments and risk management plans, ensuring safeguarding and lone-working procedures are followed.
• Maintain regular contact with employers to monitor placement success, resolve issues and support positive outcomes.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners including employment programmes, training providers, community organisations and support services.
• Support participants to access further training, qualifications and employment opportunities.
