Job summary

Education Impact Academy Trust in Birmingham is seeking a Transition and Destination Leader to guide the placements team at The Hive College and shape student outcomes.

You will lead employer engagement, coordinate social destinations, and ensure safeguarding while delivering personalised study programmes for learners with SEND. This is a permanent role starting Spring Term 2027, requiring Level 5+ Careers Advice and Guidance.

Qualifications

• Level 5+ qualification in Careers Advice and Guidance.
• Experience leading placement and employer engagement.
• Excellent time management and ability to balance priorities.
• Excellent communicator and collaborative working style.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare of students.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of and support the Placement Team at The Hive College to identify student potential and tailor support.
• Recruit and maintain employer engagement from all sectors to provide work placements inspiring career choices.
• Liaise with external agencies to offer social destinations and wider community engagement.
• Ensure safeguarding and welfare considerations are integrated into placement activity.
