Job summary

Reed in Partnership is hiring an Employment Adviser to support jobseekers with tailored guidance, CV development and interview prep. You will manage a caseload, work toward performance targets and collaborate with local employers to identify opportunities.

Qualifications

• Ability to demonstrate coaching/mentoring experience and persuasion/influencing skills.
• Experience of working in a customer facing environment (e.g. Customer Services).
• Experience of working in a fast paced, performance target driven environment.
• Willingness to travel locally to meet customers/employers.
• A minimum of 2 A-Levels or an equivalent Level 3 Diploma.
• GCSE English Language at a minimum Grade B or Level 2 literacy.

Responsibilities

• Meeting with and supporting a caseload of long‑term unemployed jobseekers and creating tailored action plans.
• Delivering personalised, one‑to‑one guidance including CV writing and interview prep.
• Meeting and exceeding performance targets and KPIs.
• Collaborating with participants to build confidence and identify job opportunities.
• Signposting participants to internal and external stakeholders to address barriers.
