Job summary

Luton Council is seeking an Employment Support Specialist to provide tailored coaching and guidance to help adults and young people move toward employment and career success.

You'll work one-to-one with participants, manage a varied caseload, build relationships with employers and partners, and deliver outcomes against targets, with travel across Luton and occasional after-hours work.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 2 qualification in English, ICT and Maths (or equal experience).
• Experience in employment and skills, coaching or mentoring.
• Strong administrative and IT skills.
• Resilience to support people facing complex challenges.
• Confident using digital platforms, analysing and reporting data.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored coaching and guidance to adults and young people toward employment.
• One-to-one with participants and manage a varied caseload.
