Job summary

Luton Council is seeking an EmploymentSupport Specialist to provide tailored coaching helping adults and young people move toward employment and training. You will manage a varied caseload, build employer relationships and deliver high-quality outcomes against targets.

Requirements include a minimum Level 2 in English, ICT and Maths, a driving licence, and the ability to work across locations in Luton. Occasional out-of-hours work may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 2 qualification in English, ICT and Maths.
• Experience in employment, skills coaching or mentoring.
• Strong administrative and IT skills; ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored coaching and guidance to adults and young people toward employment or training.
• Manage a varied caseload and maintain relationships with employers and partners.
• Analyse data, report outcomes, and work across locations in Luton.
