Job summary

Choices Homecare in Barnsley is seeking compassionate domiciliary care workers to support people in their own homes evenings and weekends. Roles offer zero-hour contracts with shifts from 3:00pm to 10:00pm, and some full-day options depending on availability.

Mileage is reimbursed at 30p per mile, and full training is provided. Experience is welcome but not required; drivers with own vehicle are preferred for certain routes.

Working hours:

We are looking to recruit caring and reliable individuals who are interested in Evening & weekend-only work, supporting people in their own homes.

Our service operates between 3:00pm until10:00pm, with weekend shifts typically offered as:

• Teas and beds shifts: 3:00pm – 10:00pm

• Full-day shifts, depending on your availability

We welcome applications from those who can work either one or both days at the weekend. While availability on both days is helpful, we are particularly keen to hear from applicants who are available on Sundays.

Whether you are experienced in care or new to the sector, full training and ongoing support will be provided.

We’re proud to offer flexible zero-hour contracts where you can choose to work as many hours as you’d like.

Please note: this role is paid for care delivery time only, with mileage between calls reimbursed at 30p per mile. This is not a block pay position

What You’ll Need:

• UK Driving licence and own vehicleisessential within certain routes/locations (We pay 30p per mile fuel allowance)
• Alternative weekend availability
