Choices Homecare is seeking Care Assistants to support clients across Wakefield and Kirklees. The role offers flexible full-time and part-time hours, with mileage allowance and career progression within Optimo Care Group.

Care is delivered 7 days a week between 07:00 and 23:00. A UK driving licence is preferred, and prior care experience is welcome but not essential. Training is provided and rotas are shared in advance.

• Assist with medication administration and accurate documentation.
• Prepare meals and support with eating and drinking when needed.
• Encourage independence and support people with daily living tasks.
• Build positive relationships with service users and their families.
• Support emotional wellbeing and identify changes in behaviour or needs.
• Keep accurate records and communicate clearly with colleagues and supervisors.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment.
• Respect confidentiality and maintain professional boundaries at all times.

Rate of Pay: £13.82per hour

Flexible full-time and part-time hours available

30p per mile mileage - the company will give you 30 pence for every mile you drive between client visits to help cover your petrol and vehicle wear-and-tear

What to expect in this role

Care is delivered 7 days a week between 07:00 and 23:00

We ask for a minimum of 16 hours per week

Every other weekend availability is required

This role is paid for care delivery time, with mileage reimbursed between calls at 30p per mile
