Choices Homecare in Barnsley is hiring Care Assistants to support clients across the region. Roles offer flexible full-time or part-time hours with a 30p per mile mileage allowance. Training is provided, with clear progression within the Optimo Care Group.

Care Assistants deliver personal care, assist with medication, and help with meals and daily living tasks, while building trusted relationships with service users and families.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals and support with eating and drinking when needed

Choices Homecare are seeking Care Assistants for our clients in locations across the Barnsley region.

Rate of Pay: £13.65 per hour

Flexible full-time and part-time hours available

30p per mile mileage - the company will give you 30 pence for every mile you drive between client visits to help cover your petrol and vehicle wear-and-tear

What to expect in this role

Care is delivered 7 days a week between 07:00 and 23:00

We ask for a minimum of 16 hours per week

Every other weekend availability is required

This role is paid for care delivery time, with mileage reimbursed between calls at 30p per mile

What you will do
