Nottingham City Council is seeking Care Workers at Level 1 to implement care plans, monitor welfare, and document accurately. The role focuses on one-to-one support for citizens with learning disabilities, ensuring continuity of care and collaboration with other professionals.

The post requires a DBS enhanced check for regulated activity and offers hybrid working arrangements. Salary starts at £26,427 and rises to £27,274 per year, pro rata for part-time, with a 30-hour week.

Formación

• Implementation of Care Plans and daily monitoring forms.
• Ability to encourage and support citizens to achieve and/or maintain maximum independence, and to maintain contact with friends, family and community.
• Knowledge and understanding of the rights, needs and feelings of vulnerable adults from diverse social and cultural backgrounds.
• Ability to follow all instructions, policies, procedures and guidelines.
• A DBS enhanced check for a regulated activity is required for this post.

Responsabilidades

• Implement care plans and maintain running records and daily monitoring forms.
• Encourage and support citizens to achieve/maintain independence and stay connected with support networks.
• Follow policies, procedures and guidelines and report concerns.
• Collaborate with other professionals to ensure continuity of care and welfare of citizens.
• Work predominantly one-to-one with citizens who have learning disabilities and may exhibit challenging behaviours.
