Job summary

Nottingham City Council is recruiting Care Workers at Level 1 to support citizens, particularly those with learning disabilities, by implementing care plans and monitoring welfare. The role is predominantly one-to-one, requiring cooperation with professionals and families to ensure consistent care and timely recording of information.

The post is permanent, 30 hours per week, on-site at the Martin Jackaman Centre in Nottingham.

Qualifications

  • DBS enhanced check required.
  • Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities.
  • Ability to implement care plans and monitor daily welfare.
  • Follow policies, procedures and guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Implement Care Plans and contribute to running records.
  • Monitor care and welfare of citizens and record information accurately.
  • Work one-to-one with citizens with learning disabilities and cooperate with professionals.
  • Maintain contact with citizens' friends, family and community.
