Job summary

Radis Community Care is recruiting Double up Care Workers to cover Tamworth and surrounding villages. This role supports clients in their own homes on a part-time (25 hours) and full-time basis, with shifts across early mornings and evenings and alternating weekends.

You will assist with personal care, meals, medication reminders and mobility, working as part of a small team to preserve independence and dignity.

Qualifications

• Must have own transport to travel between clients.
• Experience in providing personal care or support to the elderly or disabled is beneficial.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts including early mornings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist Olive and other clients with personal care and meals.
• Support with medication reminders and mobility using equipment.
• Work within a double team to ensure safe and dignified care at all times.
• Travel between client homes using own transport as required.

Radis Community Carehas an opportunity for part time (25 hours) and full time Double up Care Workers covering all the areas of Tamworth.

The Tamworth area consists of, villages of Wilnecote, Belgrave, Dosthil, Stonydelph, Amington, Glascote, Leys and Leyfields depending on the areas you are asked to cover.

“Olive lives In her own home, in the community she has spent many years, surrounded by her own belongings. Olive is a very independent lady but she needs some extra support throughout the day, with support with her personal care, making sure she takes her medication on time and helping with her meals/ drinks.”

As a double up care worker, we provide this support to Olive and other people in the community that also need help in their own homes. To help remain independence, ensuring dignity and choice are met at all times. Olive needs support with her mobility using equipment, you will be part of a double team to help her move correctly and safely.

Applicants will need the use of their own car, motorbike, moped to travel in-between your clients whilst on shift.

Various shift times available, 6am-2pm, 4pm-10pm and alternate weekends available, minimum of 25 hours per week.
