Job summary

Radis Community Care in Tamworth is seeking part-time (25 hours) or full-time care workers to cover the Tamworth area, including Wilnecote, Belgrave, Dosthil, Stonydelph, Amington, Glascote, Leys and Leyfields. You will support Olive and other clients at home with personal care, meals, and medication reminders.

Applicants must have their own car, motorbike, or moped to travel between clients. Shifts run 6am-2pm, 4pm-10pm, and alternate weekends, with paid travel time, training, and PPE provided.

Qualifications

• Must have own car, motorbike or moped to travel between clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, meals and assistance with medications for Olive and other clients in their own homes.
• Assist clients with daily activities and maintain independence and dignity.
• Travel between clients during shifts using own vehicle.
• Support with medication reminders and other care tasks as needed.

Radis Community Care has an opportunity for part time (25 hours) and full time single Care Workers covering all the areas of Tamworth.

The Tamworth area consists of, villages of Wilnecote, Belgrave, Dosthil, Stonydelph, Amington, Glascote, Leys and Leyfields depending on the areas you are asked to cover.

“Olive lives In her own home, in the community she has spent many years, surrounded by her own belongings. Olive is a very independent lady but she needs some extra support throughout the day, with support with her personal care, making sure she takes her medication on time and helping with her meals/ drinks.”

As a care worker, we provide this support to Olive and other people in the community that also need help in their own homes. To help remain independence, ensuring dignity and choice are met at all times.

Applicants will need the use of their own car, motorbike, moped to travel in-between your clients whilst on shift.

Various shift times available, 6am-2pm, 4pm-10pm and alternate weekends available, minimum of 25 hours per week.
