Job summary

Comfort Care Services Ltd. is seeking caring Care & Support Workers to assist adults in supported living environments. No prior care experience is required, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.

You’ll receive training and DBS checks as part of your induction. Role responsibilities include emotional support, daily living assistance, safeguarding and collaboration with healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Own transport for business use.
• Strong spoken and written English.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Ability to obtain an Enhanced DBS Check.

Responsibilities

• Provide emotional and practical support to adults in supported living services.
• Support daily living skills and household tasks.
• Promote independence, confidence and wellbeing.
• Help access education, employment and community activities.
• Assist with appointments and social outings.
• Encourage positive mental and physical health.
• Maintain accurate records and care documentation.
• Work closely with colleagues, families and healthcare professionals.
• Safeguard and promote the welfare of the people we support.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Care & Support Worker, you’ll support adults in supported living services to live independently, confidently and safely.

Your Role May Include

• Providing emotional and practical support
• Supporting people with daily living skills and household tasks
• Promoting independence, confidence and wellbeing
• Supporting people to access education, employment and community activities
• Assisting with appointments and social outings
• Encouraging positive mental and physical health
• Maintaining accurate records and care documentation
• Working closely with colleagues, families and healthcare professionals
• Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the people we support

Essential Requirements

• Health & Social Care Qualification (Level 2 or equivalent)
