Job summary

Complete Homecare 24 is seeking a compassionate Care Worker to support clients in their own homes with dignity and respect.

You will deliver person-centered care, build strong relationships, and work as part of a supportive team in a community-focused setting. Training is provided, and the role offers flexible hours, including alternate weekends, with opportunities to develop through NVQ levels 2 & 3.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Previous care experience is helpful but not essential as full training is provided.
  • Communication Skills: Strong spoken and written English to follow care plans and communicate effectively.
  • Drivers License: A full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle is essential.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including alternate weekends.
  • Access NI enhanced disclosure check will be performed for the post- We adhere to the Access NI code of practice.
  • A criminal record will not necessarily bar you from obtaining this position.

Responsibilities

  • Personal Care: support with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming and toilet.
  • Health & Medication Support: assist with medication administration or reminders as prescribed.
  • Emotional & Social Support: offer companionship and encourage social interaction.
  • Domestic Assistance: help with light household tasks and maintain a clean environment.
  • Communication & Documentation: record changes in health and communicate with family and professionals.
  • Personal Advocacy: empower individuals to make choices while safeguarding dignity.

Your key responsibilities will be:

Personal Care

  • Support with daily living activities: bathing, dressing, grooming and toilet
  • Assist with mobility and safe transfers in and out of beds etc
  • Use of mobility aids when required

Health & Medication Support

  • Assist with medication: administration or reminders as prescribed
  • Support with feeding, ensuring proper nutrition and hydration

Emotional & Social Support

  • Offer companionship
  • Encourage social interaction and help clients stay connected with loved ones
  • Provide reassurance and emotional wellbeing

Domestic Assistance

  • Help with light household tasks including; cleaning, laundry and meal prep
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment

Communication & Documentation

  • Record and report changes in health, mood, or behaviour
  • Communicate clearly with family members, healthcare professionals, and other team members

Personal Advocacy

  • Empower individuals to make choices and decisions about their care
  • Ensure clients rights and dignity are upheld at all times
What Were Looking For
