Job summary

Caron Group is seeking an ambitious Service Manager for Brynmawr Care Village in Ebbw Vale. You will be registered with CIW as the registered manager, reporting to Head of Region, and lead a village of care homes to deliver outstanding relationship-centred care.

You will build robust QA/compliance systems, manage Unit Managers and Clinical Leads, and drive continuous improvement across operations. Competitive package and development opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Holds a Registered Managers Award or Leadership and Management for Care Award.
• Robust understanding and recognition of Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) requirements.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

Responsibilities

• Ensure a high standard of care, maintaining dignity, choice and respect for residents.
• Provide leadership to Unit Managers, Clinical Leads and department heads; set performance standards.
• Line manage senior site personnel and conduct supervision and appraisals.
• Support staff development and identify training needs.
• Establish strong relationships with external stakeholders including families and healthcare professionals.
• Align site activities with Caron Group's strategic goals and drive improvement.
