Job summary

Voyage Care in Lowestoft is seeking a Care Coordinator to lead the mobilisation phase, coordinating the transition of people we support and assembling new teams across dual sites. You will engage with staff, oversee induction and training, and work with Operations and Recruitment on staffing and redeployment.

The role progresses into wider coordination responsibilities as services establish, ensuring care delivery teams are deployed effectively and day-to-day needs are managed smoothly.

Qualifications

• Experience working in Health & Social Care
• Administrative or coordination experience
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and computer skills
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Flexible, proactive approach
• Ability to handle confidential information and data

Responsibilities

• Coordinate transition visits and support the people we support through change
• Maintain engagement with newly recruited colleagues
• Help coordinate induction, training and probation
• Work closely with Operations and Recruitment on staffing and redeployment
• Support community mapping and local planning
• Track key transition milestones and keep mobilisation on schedule
• Ensure colleagues feel informed, supported and prepared
• Help ensure every element of the transition is safe, organised and person-centred
