Job summary

Lifeways is seeking a Care Team Leader for Exmouth to work alongside the Service Manager in leading day-to-day operations and ensuring excellent person-centred care. You will supervise a team of support workers, manage recruitment, and drive staff development to maintain high service standards.

The role is full-time (37.5 hours) with the potential for progression and funded qualifications. A UK driving licence is required, and travel to nearby services is expected.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence required.
• NVQ / QCF in Health & Social Care preferred.
• Experience as Care Team Leader/Senior Support Worker a plus.
• Willingness to travel to Exmouth and Newton Abbot.
• Strong communication and IT skills for record keeping.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team of support workers to deliver excellent person-centred care.
• Involved in recruitment, staff supervisions, interviews and guidance.
• Support development and training of staff to ensure high standards of care.
