Job summary
Lifeways in Colchester is seeking a Care Team Leader to guide a dedicated team delivering person-centred care to individuals in our service. You will work alongside the Service Manager to ensure high-quality care and meaningful daily routines for those we support.
The role welcomes experienced Team Leaders or Senior Support Workers with an NVQ/QCF in Health & Social Care, offering funded qualifications and development opportunities within a supportive team environment.
Qualifications
- Experience as Care Team Leader or Senior Support Worker with NVQ/QCF in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
- Commitment to ongoing training and development opportunities.
- Willingness to progress within Lifeways and lead teams.
Responsibilities
- Leading and mentoring a team of Support Workers
- Ensuring high-quality, person-centred care is delivered
- Supporting individuals with daily routines and personal goals
- Conducting staff supervisions, interviews, and ongoing development
- Promoting best practices and safeguarding standards
- Communicating effectively with staff, the people we support, and external professionals
- Maintaining accurate records and using IT systems confidently
