Job summary

Agincare is seeking a Care Team Leader at Rodley House in Lydney to lead a dedicated care team and ensure high-quality support for residents. The role focuses on compassionate leadership, safe personal care, and promoting wellbeing within a warm home environment.

You will oversee medication administration, coordinate activities, and collaborate with families and health professionals to maintain excellent care standards. Prior experience in senior care and E-care systems is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months’ right to work in the UK.
• At least 2 years’ experience in social care.
• Experience with medication is required.
• Experience in a senior or team leader role in care is required.
• Experience in E-care systems is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example, providing high-quality care and companionship.
• Support residents with personal care and daily living.
• Encourage independence and wellbeing.
• Plan and take part in meaningful activities and outings.
• Oversee medication administration and accurate record-keeping.
• Work closely with families and healthcare professionals.
• Support and guide the care team, stepping up in the absence of senior management.
