The Home: Downing house is a Good CQC rated residential care home offering dementia care in Withington, Manchester, providing high-quality care for up to 25 people.

Shift Times: 8am - 8pm

Hours: 36 Hours Available across weekdays and alternative weekends

The Role of Care Team Leader

• Our Care Team Leaders are central to our operations. As the recognised Senior Carer on a shift, you'll have overall responsibility for monitoring the health, care, and social needs of our residents.
• Preparation, implementation, and review of personal care plans, including administering medication.
• Supervise, support, coach, and develop team members; liaise with residents, their families, and other care professionals. Ensure residents' needs and wishes are prioritized.
• Lead during emergencies or when staff or residents require assistance.

About You

• Experienced Carer, ideally with a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent, or working towards it.
• Strong organizational and staff management skills. Proficient in writing and updating Care Plans and administering medication.
• Passionate and committed to delivering exceptional care to residents, their families, and friends.
