Lifeways are recruiting a Care Support Worker to join our teams in Swansea, Tumble & Llanelli. You’ll support people with learning disabilities to live independent lives in their local communities, develop daily living skills, and participate in activities and appointments.

No two days are the same: you’ll gain training, build meaningful relationships, and make a real difference while enjoying supportive colleagues and career progression opportunities.

Shift Patterns

We provide support across a range of shifts between:

Full time - 37.5 Hours Contract

Part time -22.5 Hours Contract

• 7:00am - 10:00pm
• 9:0am - 6:00pm
• Sleep-in shifts available

You will work across two local services, so flexibility is important.

As a Support Worker, you'll be helping people to:

• Develop everyday living skills
• Build confidence and independence
• Access local activities, clubs and community events
• Attend appointments and manage daily routines
• Explore hobbies, interests and new experiences
• Achieve personal goals and aspirations
• Maintain meaningful connections with family, friends and their community

Most importantly, you'll provide encouragement, companionship and practical support that enables people to thrive.
