Job summary

Cygnet Group is seeking a confident Care & Support Worker to help enhance the lives of residents at Beckly House in Shelf, Halifax. You will work full-time on a 42-hour week with 12-hour shifts, rotating weekends, days only, providing person-centred care.

We offer an apprenticeship pathway and ongoing development, flexible overtime where available, and a supportive team with coaching and supervision to help you grow in your role.

Qualifications

• Genuine care-focused approach to supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.
• Ability to communicate clearly with colleagues, service users and families.
• Willingness to learn and follow person-centred care plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for service users.
• Offer physical and emotional support and guidance.
• Learn individuals' needs and tailor support accordingly.
• Assist with medical and welfare needs and report as required.
• Maintain safeguarding and a safe, clean environment.
