Job summary

Confidential care provider seeks a confident Care & Support Worker for Beckly House in Shelf, Halifax. The role is full-time (42 hours) on 12-hour shifts, including alternate weekends. You will support residents with learning disabilities and complex needs in a person-centred, empowering environment.

Starting pay is £13.15 per hour, rising after three months and again after 18 months, with apprenticeship opportunities and many wellbeing benefits. DBS check required.

• Empathy and sensitivity to residents' needs.
• Ability to provide physical and emotional support with a flexible approach.

Responsibilities

• Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all service users.
• Provide guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support.
• Learn individuals' specific needs and provide help in the most appropriate way.
• Assist with medical and welfare needs and report as required.
• Safeguard residents.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment.
