Job summary

Beacon House, part of the Cygnet group, is seeking a confident Care & Support Worker for 42 hours per week on a two-week rolling rota with night shifts. You’ll support individuals with learning disabilities and autism, helping them lead a fuller life in a person-centred setting across West Yorkshire.

As a valued member of the team, you’ll benefit from an apprenticeship scheme, flexible overtime, regular coaching, and wellbeing support. Enhanced DBS checks are required.

Responsibilities

• Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our care.
• Provide guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support.
• Learn about individuals’ specific needs and provide help in the most appropriate way.
• Assist with and report on medical and welfare needs.
• Safeguard service users and maintain a safe environment.
• Support service users to access the community and engage in activities.
