Job summary

Lifeways Group in Southampton is seeking Bank Care Support Workers to join a brand-new service opening this May. You’ll assist people with autism, learning disabilities, and complex health needs, helping them live with independence and dignity.

Shifts include 7am-3pm and 3pm-10pm; alternate weekends; full training provided; you’ll build trusting relationships, support daily living tasks, and enable access to community activities such as swimming or outings.

Qualifications

• Experience in care is preferred or willingness to start on the role.
• Full training provided to all bank carers.
• Shift flexibility and willingness to cover various hours required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, meal prep, cleaning, and medication administration.
• Build trusting relationships through consistent, compassionate care.
• Support community access and activities (swimming, cinema, outings).
• Navigate challenging moments with calm, using training provided.
