Job summary

HRString is seeking care support workers to provide in-home care within the Caerphilly area. The role requires UK residency and a valid right to work, with training provided for those new to care. Previous experience is a plus but not essential.

You will perform health-care related tasks under supervision, assist with daily living activities, meal preparation, and light household duties while ensuring confidentiality and dignity for each service user.

Qualifications

• Essential requirement: You must be a resident in the UK and have a valid right to work.
• Previous care experience is welcome but training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Monitor vital signs and medications under the direction of registered nurses and physiotherapists.
• Administer bedside and personal care, including ambulation and personal hygiene assistance.
• Advise and support service users in their personal care needs and daily routines.
• Plan, prepare, cook and serve meals as required.
• Support household duties such as washing and ironing, etc.
• Maintain client confidentiality, respect, privacy and dignity at all times.
• Prepare and maintain records of client progress and report changes to the supervisor.
