Job summary

Norse Care’s St Edmunds in Attleborough is hiring a Care Support Worker to assist with personal care and daily tasks, helping service users maintain independence and dignity under a person‑centred plan. You will work as part of a friendly team, respond to call bells, support wellbeing activities and promote a safe, engaging environment.

Training will be provided, including fully funded accredited courses, with enhancements for weekend work.

Qualifications

  • We will look for caring individuals who can assist with personal care and daily support tasks.
  • Demonstrated empathy, patience and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Willingness to complete accredited training and courses to support career progression.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to call bells and emergencies promptly; communicate with colleagues and external professionals as required.

Care Support Worker–Attleborough

£13.81 per hour (Days) + enhancements
Hours Available:

23.63 hours per week + opportunity for additional hours

24.13 hours per week + opportunity for additional hours

29.4 hours per week + opportunity for additional hours

A day in the life:

As a Care Support Worker you will assist with personal care and support tasks, enabling our service users to make informed choices, promoting their independence and dignity in line with their person-centred care plan.

Working as part of a team, you will build strong relationships with your colleagues and the service users, participating and supporting with wellbeing events and activities, and helping to promote a safe and engaging environment.

Responding to call bells and emergencies in a timely manner and communicating with other medical professionals and community stakeholders as required.
