Job summary

Candlelight Care is seeking enthusiastic, caring and reliable individuals to join our friendly, family-run team. You will support vulnerable adults in their own homes across Bournemouth, Dorset and the surrounding areas.

We offer full-time or part-time opportunities with shifts from 7am-2pm and/or 4pm-10pm, and alternate weekends. A driving licence is helpful, and the role provides training and development opportunities with NVQ qualifications.

• Provide emotional and practical support, including personal care and meal preparation.

Job description

Candlelight Care are looking for enthusiastic, caring, and reliable individuals to join our friendly, family-run team. In this role, you'll support vulnerable adults in the comfort of their own homes across Bournemouth, Dorset and the surrounding areas.

We are also currently considering Sponsored skilled workers for this role.

We have both full-time and part-time opportunities available, with typical shifts from 7am-2pm and/or 4pm-10pm. You'll also be expected to work alternate weekends.

Driving is not always essential depending on your location.

Key Responsibilities:

Every day is different in Health and Social Care. In this role you should expect to get to know your clients, their interests and individual needs. You will provide both emotional and practical support, such as assisting with personal care (washing, toileting, dressing) domestic household tasks and meal preparation.

You will also be supporting clients with medication, mobility aids and personal equipment where required, and have a responsibility to monitor overall wellbeing and report to the Registered Manager any significant changes in the health or circumstances of a client. We encourage your clients to remain as independent as possible while ensuring their wellbeing is always supported and safeguarded.
