Candlelight Care is looking for enthusiastic, caring and reliable individuals to join our friendly, family-run team. In this role, you'll support vulnerable adults in their own homes across Lewes, East Sussex and the surrounding areas.

We offer full-time and part-time opportunities with typical shifts from 7am-2pm and/or 4pm-10pm, and you will work alternate weekends. Driving is not always essential depending on location.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care (washing, toileting, dressing).
• Support with domestic tasks and meal preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

Every day is different in Health and Social Care. In this role you should expect to get to know your clients, their interests and individual needs. You will provide both emotional and practical support, such as assisting with personal care (washing, toileting, dressing) domestic household tasks and meal preparation.

You will also be supporting clients with medication, mobility aids and personal equipment where required, and have a responsibility to monitor overall wellbeing and report to the Registered Manager any significant changes in the health or circumstances of a client. We encourage our clients to remain as independent as possible while ensuring their wellbeing is always supported and safeguarded.
