The Richmond Fellowship Scotland is looking for compassionate Support Practitioners to help individuals in their own homes in Coatbridge. You don’t need prior care experience and training is provided, including SVQ.

A female-only role is specified due to the nature of support and requires a full UK manual licence and access to your own car. This 37.5-hour role offers ongoing training, opportunities to develop in social care, and a friendly team environment with generous benefits and a commitment

Qualifications

• Empathetic and caring nature.
• Good observation skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Confidence in using computers.
• Able to work well in a team and independently.
• Good organisational skills.

Responsabilités

• Assist individuals living in their own homes with disabilities and/or additional support needs in daily living.
• Support with medication and finances, housework, meals and personal care.
• Provide moving and handling support when required with appropriate training.
