Job summary

The Richmond Fellowship Scotland in Cumbernauld is seeking compassionate Support Practitioners to help adults living in their own homes with disabilities. You will support daily living tasks, including personal care, finances, meals, and household chores, while promoting independence.

This is a female-only role requiring a full UK manual licence and access to your own car, 37.5 hours per week, with opportunities for ongoing training and career progression in social care.

Qualifications

• Confidence in using computers.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals in their own homes with daily living activities including medication, finances, housework, meal preparation, cooking and personal care.
• Provide moving and handling support when required with training.
• Engage with people served through hobbies and activities to promote well-being.
• Maintain clear, accurate communication with the people supported and colleagues.
