Job summary

The Richmond Fellowship Scotland is seeking compassionate Support Practitioners to support individuals with disabilities and additional needs in their own homes across Scotland. Training is provided, including a fully funded SVQ.

Roles can be full-time or part-time. Due to the nature of the role, only male applicants with a UK driving license will be considered. We offer ongoing training, generous leave, and benefits to support your career in social care.

Responsibilities

• As a Support Practitioner, assist individuals living in their own homes with disabilities and/or additional support needs in daily life, including medication and finances, housework, meal preparation, cooking and personal care.
• Some moving and handling support may be required, with training provided.
• Engage with service users and their hobbies, supporting activities from outings to gym sessions and group activities.
