Job summary

McCarthy & Stone is hiring a part-time Care Assistant at Stowe Place, Lichfield. Join a one-location team to support residents with daily tasks, social activities and wellbeing. Enjoy funded training and a supportive on-site environment, with a pay rate of £13.26–£14.56 per hour depending on shifts.

Role focuses on promoting independence, dignity and community engagement for older adults in a central development. Sponsorship is not available for UK-based applicants.

Qualifications

• Experience in UK health and social care environment is preferred.
• Level 2 QCF in Health and Social Care (Adults) is a plus but not essential.
• Caring, dependable and passionate about supporting older adults.
• Residents should live within commuting distance of the development.

• Assist residents with daily tasks such as appointments, light cleaning, laundry and shopping
• Support social activities and wellbeing routines to promote independence and community engagement
• Uphold dignity and offer person-centred care in a one-location environment
