Job summary

Caring @ Home is offering a Level 2 Adult Care Apprenticeship at its Swindon site. The apprenticeship provides hands-on experience delivering person-centred care in home or supported living settings, with online tutor-led training and a 13-month duration.

The role involves supporting daily living activities, safeguarding, and maintaining care records while working 30 hours per week. Salary starts at £8.00 per hour with an automatic pay increase after one year for 19+ year olds.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in English and Maths at grades 4–9 (A*–C) desirable.
• Deliver safe, respectful and person-centred care to individuals in their own homes and/or supported living settings.
• Complete apprenticeship training and attend learning sessions.

Responsibilities

Apprenticeship Overview:

• Salary: £8.00 an hour, Automatic pay increase after one year on programme for 19+ year olds
• Working Week:Monday - Sunday (30 hours per week, shift to be confirmed)
• Hours:30 hours per week
• Duration:13 months
• Level 2 Adult Care Apprenticeship standard qualification
• Online training supported by our dedicated tutor
• Location:Nexus Business Centre, 6 Darby Close, Swindon, Wiltshire, SN2 2PN

As an Adult Care Apprentice, you will:

• Deliver safe, respectful and person-centred care to individuals in their own homes and/or supported living settings.
