Job summary

Lotus Home Care Limited in the UK is recruiting Health & Social Care Apprentices to deliver person-centred care in clients’ homes. You will be trained to administer medication where trained, liaise with families and healthcare professionals, and record health and wellbeing.

The apprenticeship lasts 1 year 6 months, with 5 positions. You will train with RNN GROUP, travel between clients with mileage reimbursed, and complete off-job learning to achieve a Level 2 Adult Care Worker qualification.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths & English at grade A*-C/9-4 or equivalent.
• Willingness to undertake an apprenticeship and complete required training.
• Strong communication and organisational skills are essential for working with clients and families.

What You'll Do

As a Health & Social Care Apprentice, you will be trained to be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred care tailored to individual needs
• Administer or assist with medication (where trained and authorised)
• Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies
• Record, monitor, and report on health and well-being
• Support individuals with complex needs such as dementia, learning disabilities, or physical impairments
• Uphold safeguarding responsibilities, acting promptly to protect vulnerable individuals
• Travel between clients’ homes (mileage reimbursed)
• Attend training, workshops, and complete off-job learning for your apprenticeship
