Job summary

Bluebird Care Southend and Rochford is seeking an experienced Care Supervisor to join our growing team, covering Southend and Rochford and surrounding areas. You will lead care teams, ensure safe, compassionate care, and uphold regulatory standards.

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in health and social care.
• Experience as Care Supervisor or similar leadership role.
• Understanding of CQC regulations and person-centred care.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organisational and IT skills.
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, mentor and support Care Assistants to deliver outstanding person-centred care.
• Carry out care assessments, customer reviews and spot checks.
• Monitor and maintain high standards of care quality and compliance.
• Support with induction, training and ongoing development of care staff.
• Assist with care planning and risk assessments.
• Respond professionally to customer queries and concerns.
• Maintain accurate electronic care records using care management systems.
• Work collaboratively with Registered Manager and office team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Promote our values and maintain compliance with CQC standards and company policies.

The Role

About You

We're looking for someone who already has supervisory experience within the care sector and is ready to make a positive impact.

You’ll Have

• A minimum of 3 years' experience working in health and social care.
• Previous experience as a Care Supervisor, Field Care Supervisor, Senior Care Assistant or similar leadership role.
• A strong understanding of CQC regulations and person-centred care.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organisational and IT skills.
• The confidence to lead, motivate and support a team.
• The ability to work independently and prioritise a busy workload.
• A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
