Job summary

McCarthy & Stone is seeking a Care Supervisor for Thackrah Court in Shadwell, Leeds. You will lead a team to help residents live independently within a warm, caring community and ensure high-quality care across day and evening shifts.

The role offers permanent hours (33.5 per week). Day shifts are paid £15.24 per hour, sleeping night shifts £12.24, with a £1 uplift for hours Fri to Sun. Benefits include funded Level 3 training and generous holiday.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification; L2 accepted with progression plan.
• Experience in care or support environment and team management.
• Warm, friendly, organised and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Lead Care and Support team to enable residents to live independently.
• Oversee safety, activities and welfare across the community.
• Foster a welcoming, supportive atmosphere for residents.
