Job summary

Signature Senior Lifestyle in Caversham is seeking a Care Supervisor to inspire and develop a small team of care assistants, organising the rota and leading by example.

You will monitor residents' care plans, ensure entries are up to date, perform some care duties as required and maintain composure in emergencies.

We value compassionate, proactive staff with NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care and a recognised medication qualification.

Qualifications

• Experience in care settings and leadership responsibilities.
• NVQ Level 3 Health & Social Care is desirable; medication administration qualification is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a small team of care assistants through supervision, 1:1s and annual reviews.
• Monitor and review residents' care plans and ensure adherence by all team members.
• Record residents' progress accurately and perform care duties as required.
• Remain calm and take the lead in emergencies.
