Job summary

McCarthy & Stone in Leicester is seeking a Care Supervisor to join our Gledhills Court estate. This part-time role offers 33.5 hours per week with a mix of day and evening shifts, including weekdays and weekends.

Pay is £15.24 per hour for day shifts and £12.24 for sleeping night shifts, plus a £1 per hour uplift for weekend hours. You will lead a care team, support residents to live independently, ensure safety, coordinate activities, and foster a warm, welcoming community.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification preferred; Level 2 acceptable with progression.
• Experience in care or support environments.
• Experience managing team members.

About You

• You are warm, friendly, organised, and self-motivated, with experience in a care or support environment and preferably a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care. (Those with L2 are welcome to apply but will need to undertake their L3.)
• You are eager to take on responsibilities, promote community spirit, and improve the wellbeing of our residents.
• You will have previous experience of managing team members.
